Such is Life

Better get busy living or get busy dying,
Such is life or death.
I was busy living, I know that,
I fear I am busy dying,
They say when you stop learning,
You stop living,
I have not stopped living.
But something has stopped living within me.
My heart aches for something,
I cannot tell what,
I cannot find that something.
I live today, I may die tomorrow.
Hello and farewell to this world.
And I continue to move on,
I continue to push forward,
I may not be living,
But I may also not be dying,
Not yet, I think, not yet,
So I march on as time goes on,
Things are the same,
Things change,
Such is life.
